Getting some 99 coils

Ok so I've decided to do a mild lift on my 02. But I'm just gonna do the 99 coils with some bilstein shocks, I know it's not much but I don't really wheel. Anyways, after I lift it I want to get some new tires... I'm looking at some ko2 but I want to know if I can squeeze some 275/70/17 in that mood lift. I got some Toyota trail wheels so they don't have a crazy offset or anything


Has anyone done these tires on a mild lift like this? Or should I stick with the ones I have now 265/70/17???

If you're set on the KO2's get them in 255/75/17. Same height as the 275/70/17, but skinnier, less weight, and C load instead of E. Better ride, mpg, less power loss, and better steering feel. And yes that size will fit. You might have to do very minor trimming on your front bumper, but no one will notice. I'm talking about trimming a centimeter or two off the inside of your front bumper flares.

I ran this size on stock 01 suspension before I lifted mine.

[MENTION=116387]Unner[/MENTION] makes a good point- the 255/75 are 47lbs/ea, and the 275/70 are 55lbs/ea. 8lbs/corner might be enough to make a noticeable MPG difference. That said, I still get 15-16mpg on 315s, so I'm not sure how much weight/tire it would take to gain/lose 1mpg. I was going to get the same size tire I have(315/70R17) in a C rated, but then I discovered it doesn't even weigh any less than my E rated. Weird, right?
Anyway, I think the 275/70R17 is an awesome size, and I think you'll love the Bilsteins and '99 coils. Do you plan on leaving the Bilsteins on the "stock" perch setting? I run the Tundra 5100 with '99 coils in the front of mine, and I absolutely love it. Been running them on perch 3 of 5, but going to the 4th perch as I type this. I can't say if those tires will fit without any rubbing at all, but any trimming you might have to do would be minor and not noticeable. I've trimmed mine to not rub with 315's, and it still looks un-trimmed from the side shot.
