Most on here have been installing themselves, no welding needed, but if you don't have the time, any exhaust shop could have it on in 30 min. Probably charge you no more than $50. Simple.

Do have have the stainless steel one ? I'm curious if their is a tone difference between the two.

I recently bought a Gibson stainless steel catback exhaust, and I think it looks cool. I had it installed at a local shop, and I recommend the same for everybody else who is not sure where to cut the pipe. The exhaust tip is adjustable, so it can stick out (or not) as much as you like. Thanks Jason for all your feedback and quick service.

genmarks, has the stainless one. I remember his order since he was in Hawaii, not many hawaii guys on here. Both systems will sound about the same.
The MAIN DIFFERENCE with the stainless is the Lifetime Warranty. Even if if you live in a warm state, exhaust gases produce condensation. Overtime, a muffler can rot from the inside out, same with exhaust piping over the years. With the STAINLESS this is guaranteed, for life, to never happen. Peace of mind, which runs $99 additional for the stainless. Also, sale is still running!

I ordered the stainless model last sale for my 2001 4Runner. The instructions said to use part of your old exhaust to connect this to the converter.
Cut stock exhaust 2" in front of muffler using a hacksaw and
remove stock exhaust leaving all of the factory rubber grommets.
Due to the condition of my oem exhaust, this will not work. Do you know of an adaptor that will help me with this? I would rather do this myself and not take it to an exhaust shop. I am sure this will help others as well.

Great photos and thanks for the reply. Needed some better installed pics and those do look awesome.
Going to try to run for 4-5 more days I think. My guy at Gibson wanted to end this deal sooner, but I sent him so many orders he extended my discount!
:thumb: That gives you a lifetime warranty. I've said earlier, even if you live in a warm state, an exhaust produces condensation inside it, so the SS (Stainless Steel) is the ultimate protection.
