Can anyone confirm how this compares to the flowmaster super 50 in terms of sound levels? Is it louder or quieter?

It was supposed to end Friday, the 9th, yesterday, but I've been getting a decent amount of orders and was able to get them to extend until Dec 16th!

I am on the fence about this. I am looking for something that sounds close to the TRD did. I don't want something that sounds ricer or something thats going to drone at 70mph.

Does anyone have first hand knowledge on this?

I ordered the stainless model last sale for my 2001 4Runner. The instructions said to use part of your old exhaust to connect this to the converter.

Cut stock exhaust 2" in front of muffler using a hacksaw and
remove stock exhaust leaving all of the factory rubber grommets.

Due to the condition of my oem exhaust, this will not work. Do you know of an adaptor that will help me with this? I would rather do this myself and not take it to an exhaust shop. I am sure this will help others as well.
This is a very nice cat back exhaust!

This will not drone. Gibson is known for "no drone" and when someone calls me and says "I don't want a loud exhaust", I sell them a Gibson. You don't have to worry. It's got a nice tone, and is not loud. At one point Gibson made a system for TRD. Trd had like 4-5 different companies making their exhausts for this truck over the years. So many, I can't keep track.

Just ordered mine from Jason, Full stainless with the black tip. He was able to sneak me in, sale closes at 5pm pacific.

Any inforamtion on this? or anything else to purchase for you guys before installing, going to try to do this on my own.

Jason checked with Gibson, they suggested I go to an exhaust shop and see if they had something that would work. Gibson does not have any adaptors that goes with this exhaust. So far I have had no luck, if anyone finds anything or any ideas, let us know.
