I really like this system. I drove Jason nuts with questions but it doesn’t drone luckily. I also did notice a nice bump up in mileage on the highway

Yeah droning is the worst! Personally I didnt like the sound of the exhaust on the videos I watched, it had a ricer sound to it when it was revved. The XR-1 sounds a lot more like a v8 than anything I've heard while still keeping a nice non drone too it. You've got the flowmaster as well and thumpers but those drone like crazy

i asked about this and Jason said the stainless model will get a little surface rust but wont rot. Mine did the same and i welded a couple joints so i'll be watching those specifically.
Overall im very impressed with this system and the sound is great for a vehicle that is extremely hard to make sound good. Mine rarely sees high enough RPMs to get that V6 pang but there is zero drone and that is exactly what i wanted.
Still haven't made a video of mine Jason, sorry

I installed the SS last year on my 2.7 5sp and it was a huge improvement. It sounds much better than my new V6 with stock muffler.
But, mine already has a coat of surface rust, I was surprised to see, especially here in New Mex with humidity of 16%. If it weren't for that, I'd get one immediately for the 3.4. I also had to weld the system on as it leaked with the clamps and add a section of pipe to get to where it was supposed to be according to directions. Never tried another alternative so can't recommend one.

In 2021 all Gibson systems are going up due to their annual price increase, etc. so prices will never be this low again. Things have been a little nutty with covid and these shipping out (these are made to order fresh). haha. nice one no shame. I actually just bought the Magnaflow Overland catback exhaust. It has not shipped out yet but I will have an OEM one when that comes in. I live in NorthPark. You can DM me and we can work something out I'm sure

thanks for fast reply, typicall however, new oil leak is gonna take the $$$ first. Guess my rotted system will have to wait a bit
