Would an iPhone video work from drivers seat?
Lol. Thanks for suggesting. It would help certainly since it'd be more than just listening to the engine at idle revs.
Someone from the outside recording would be optimal.

Anyone else having a hard time getting the exhaust to clear the metal bracket behind the spare tire? Mine vibrates like crazy on the bracket. the most I can get is half in clearance but the exhaust doesn’t stay in place and works it’s way back down
I wanna check out your truck sometime, fellow Houstonian.

Aside from the warranty, what is the advantage of the stainless vs. aluminized piping?
No problem. I post pretty often on HTX4R on FaceBook. You in that group? I have my build page there.
Impressions:
Fitment- Excellent. No modifications required. Bolted up to existing hangers. Used new clamps and bolts provided by Gibson.
Looks- Matte Black Tips really matches the rest of my 4R. Side exit looks really neat with the tips running along the angle of the bumper. Not only are the tips black, so is the pipe it bolts to so the look is seamless. Not just a steel pipe with BLK tips bolted to it. Baby Brabus AMG look for sure.
Sound- Slight rumble at idle in driveway. You know it’s there. Sounds comes from the RR of the car so you can hear it with your right ear. Idle in traffic and you can’t hear anything. Hard to compare the sound but I guess you can say a V6 Mustang with a muffler? Except it’s not loud. Almost bubbles like a V8 but not strong enough? Normal accelerations sounds good. You can hear there is a system. Hadn’t got a chance to WOT. Music is a little harder to hear? Maybe I’m just use to how quiet the 4R use to be.
Performance- I can feel right away the throttle response. Car feels more free? So far I am really digging the response. It’s way lighter than the factory unit. So I think I am feeling the weight saving there too. I do have a TRD CAI.

VERY interested in this system. What effect would it have on warranty?? I have a brand new 19 TRD ORP
Your OEM exhaust warranty might get voided but it won’t matter because it won’t be on the truck anymore.

also, wouldn't they (in theory) be able to claim that any engine related issues could have conceivably been caused by altering the air flow/exhaust? seems like an easy out for them
what about emissions for us california suckers? any issues there?

It’s no different than a TRD catback Exhaust
Great write-up, I added it to my site.
I'd recommend SS for anywhere up north as someone else said. Alum has a 1 year warranty and won't last forever. SS will, or it will be replaced for free. If you don't plan on keepinf the truck long, maybe go with alum, as it's less, or go with SS if you are the type that needs peace of mind, or if you want to use it as a bargaining chip when selling the truck.... "hey, my truck has full Stainless Steel exhaust with lifetime warranty"
Yes, come to find out IF you have a LIMITED model, you will have to bend move the last rear hangar to accomodate the the tip.

Can you run me through how to modify the side-exit for the Limited? I'd like to know what I would be getting into once I order.
