I followed the directions and went to front to back but Jason told me he recommends back to front. I’m having trouble with the section that goes over the axle which is your same section. I’m gonna pull my at the front and muffler can and adjust the two back pieces to how they should be and clamp em down hard then do the muffler and front section.

That’s a thin bracket. You can just bend it away from the exhaust pipe or just remove it.

Looks like you have a Limited from your avatar. This system will not work on your 4R. Correct me if I am wrong [MENTION=9]Jason B[/MENTION].

Great write-up, I added it to my site.
I'd recommend SS for anywhere up north as someone else said. Alum has a 1 year warranty and won't last forever. SS will, or it will be replaced for free. If you don't plan on keepinf the truck long, maybe go with alum, as it's less, or go with SS if you are the type that needs peace of mind, or if you want to use it as a bargaining chip when selling the truck.... "hey, my truck has full Stainless Steel exhaust with lifetime warranty"
Yes, come to find out IF you have a LIMITED model, you will have to bend move the last rear hangar to accomodate the the tip.

Your OEM exhaust warranty might get voided but it won’t matter because it won’t be on the truck anymore.

also, wouldn't they (in theory) be able to claim that any engine related issues could have conceivably been caused by altering the air flow/exhaust? seems like an easy out for them
They have to prove that mod directly caused the failure. You’re not deleting your cats or anything. No o2 sensor mods. It’s no different than a TRD catback Exhaust
You keep your cats and o2 sensors. Emissions don’t change.

you should pass emissions, but you may not pass visual (and that depends if the smog tech is having a good or bad day)... I hate cali law....
Honestly, I say go for it if you really want a new exhaust. I've never had a problem passing visual at a smog test, UNLESS I got sent to the smog refs....which only happened one time because the CHP decided that my vehicle of choice wasn't something she liked.

Nope, NONE! This exhaust will 100% pass for California. It can't fail. California's laws do not exclude cat back exhausts. You are 110% in the clear. Now, If I was going to sell you headers in CA, that's an issue.
Same with an air intake, BUT, I'm happy to report that the S&B intake that just came out is getting APPROVED for CA very shortly! For those not in CA, not issue for this intake.
