Anytime I get interested in something, I always find myself being active on the forums, and this is definitely a great group of people. I think it says a lot of about the 4runner that it attracts quality people. I've learned so much already just browsing and I can't wait to learn more. I am brand new to owning 4runners and trucks or SUV's in general. Never had anything with 4WD or been off-road. I got a job that requires me to drive in some rough conditions so I had to upgrade, and the 4runner was my choice after a lot of research. I bought a 2015 SR5 4WD with 70k miles. I love it so far. Only thing I have done is upgrade the tires to Cooper AT3 4s and they made a huge difference on rain, gravel and mud.

Welcome! I bought my first 4R (2017 limited) and I'm never looking back. I'm so impressed with what Toyota has done and I feel safer driving than I ever have. Good choice in tires, I went with the BF KO2s myself, what a difference they made in rough conditions. Enjoy your new ride, remember to stay off the pavement as much as you can :tea:
