Glare strip or No glare strip

+1 I have the glare strip and the whole thing at 35%. Been pulled for speeding and what not and no officer ever notices.

How do you drive at night with 35%? Ha.

I have ~45% on mine and last night driving in the rain was MISERABLE. Especially with the windows fogging up. It's was hard to see anything.

If it's not raining then it's fine.

I've always had a glare strip in all of my cars and even though I have Oakleys, I am being considerate of my passengers. Plus I too, think it looks cool.

I'd go for it, would look good on your rig, I did it just cause here in PHX with no trees around I couldn't see when i was going home. You can kinda see in the pic, I didn't go down too far.

Really old man!! I have no issues at all. It gets rid of all glare. I used to HATE the bright lights of other cars and could barely see with them. I guess it doesn't seem dark at all because of my other windows.

Hey guys So im trying to decide if i want the little $20 glare stip on the front windshield or not. I dont want it to look ricey.

I couldnt find anything paticular on this and the only runner that i have seen with one is clemsons. Anyone else have one? if so please post pics!!

Do you think i can use one?

Do these things actaully make it look darker from the front/side windows? here in Utah we can only tint 50% on the front windows.. Freaking cops scared of all us mormons havin dark windows and such! what the hell?

So did you end up going with the glare strip? I've got a black 4R and contemplating getting the strip when I get my windows tinted in a couple days.

I have new reasoning to do this strip. If you don't, you'll be using your sun visors more often. These, if down at the wrong angle, can completely block your vision coming up on traffic lights. If you have the strip, that allows you to see the lights and have more vision without letting light effect your driving.

I did do it, and loved it. I took some getting used to for sure but definitely made a difference with helping with the glare.

Yes, it's 100% needed. Every newer vehicle has it from the factory (just in the glass)

20% on mine. Only issue I have is I'm tall enough that it's halfway into my normal viewing zone so I'm forever looking through it or having to look under it. But it's definitely worth it.
