Glove box light location?

Does base model 2016 SR5 has a glove box light? My instrument panel lights all went off due to a short circuit and I checked all the wire connections on the driver side and center console area with no luck. There might be one wire group behind the glove box that I haven’t checked. Need to remove the airbag and glove box. But I didn’t see the light inside the glove box. Do all SR5s have the light or it’s optional? There’s no light in the box between the front seats either. Is there a video for removing the glove box? I saw some posts with pictures but no video.

Did you ever get a response? (I'm also struggling to change the glove box light.)

I do know that there IS a light ... It's located on the roof of the glove box, in between the two removable plastic screw covers on the left in the first picture you posted. But, although I can see the light, I have NO IDEA HOW to get TO IT so I can change the bulb.

Any more info?

My interior LED package came with "glove box leds", but i never installed because i don't where its located too.

Subscribing to thread hoping for the answer.

You have to remove the glove box and if I remember from when I had mine out for something else, it isn't a normal bulb that you can just swap out.
