Good afternoon everyone,

I seem to have lost my glove compartment key, and while it is unlocked i still want a key. Any idea where i can find a spare? is the lock replaceable?

Furthermore, anyone know of a good hiding spot in the car for weed?

1) You could probably go to your local toyota dealer and have them make you a spare key.

2) I don't know what year your driving but mine has a small pocket located on the front passenger seat. If your sitting in the passenger seat, it is located near your left hip. It is on the side of the seat facing the center console. That is my spot and I love it :D
:hippie:

There is no such thing as a glove box key. There are master keys that do everything and valet keys that do everything except glove box and rear window. If your ignition key does not open/lock the glove box, you are driving with a valet key. You need to go to a dealer and get a master key made from the VIN.

The only exception would be if the ignition has been replaced or the glove box lock has been replaced.

As for the hiding space, you are on your own.

Rough week? I feel ya. I once had the same s(h)ituation but with 3 hookers.
I just hacked everything up and used my trash compactor.
Let me know how it goes!

Q: What's the difference between an onion and a hooker?
A: You don't cry when you chop up a hooker!

wish i could have afforded 3, dam recession.....wife's coming home...gotta go!

I'm not saying you should do it, but you can easily remove the center console bezel and hide all kinds of stuff up under there. I stash extra bulbs and stuff there, but I'm sure you could stash some weed in there.

Get a new valet key from dealership.

A great place to conceal contraband is in the anal cavity. I hear prisoners do it all the time... However be warned, this may not be a big hit socially.

Yeah good luck getting your friends to smoke with you after you pull that baggie out of your bung-hole!

really doesn't matter where you hide your stash, the k9 will always find it. just don't give them a reason to pull you over.

You mean master key. Valet keys do NOT open the glove box, that's the point.

this thread has been entertaining.....lots of people are herb friendly here but this is also a family friendly site as well, the tie breaker goes to the latter, hang out here a bit and you'll get a sense who can answer your drugs questions or not for you....

there is no good place to hid dr*gs in a 4Runner.

if the cops suspect you they will as Jay-z put it "get the b*tch" to come sniff around. then you will have 100 instead of 99 problems.

If you want to protect yourself against unreasonable searches you could always put private property in a small key-coded lockbox/gunsafe mounted in your trunk area.

That will protect you against searches without probable cause but if they call a dog out, it will (of course) be able to smell whatever drugs are inside and then they will (maybe) have probable cause to break open the safe.

Just leave your drugs at home man, leave your drugs at home.

I'm not a lawyer so dismiss everything I say :)

BTW, keeping your dr*gs in the glove box and locking it is the stupidest idea ever.

For 1, when a cop pulls you over and asks for your license and registration he WILL notice that unlike the other 99.99% of America, you don't keep your registration and proof of insurance inside your perfectly working glove box. Plus the car key opens the glove box.

really he should just move...

on reason why i'm for states over federal government, if you don't like a states laws or the way things are there you can always move...
