Glovebox light

My TE doesn't have a glovebox light and I plan on adding my own. Could someone post a pic or two of the stock light and pin switch so I can see how they normally are installed?

Thanks.

Thanks!

I've got that excuse for a light but thought there was better one based on other threads. I guess I'm going to look at modding up a pin-switch and light setup to provide useful light anytime the box gets opened.

By this I thought you DIDN'T have a light at all. Not that you found it to measly to class it as a light.

Why do you need such a bright light in there, just curious? Growing something!? lol

No, it's part of a meth lab.

Actually I have two requirements I want to fill:
*) The light needs to turn on/off when the glove box is opened/closed regardless of anything else.
*) The light needs to be bright enough to actually see what you're grabbing.

The stock light meets neither of these needs. So, I figure I'll install a pin-switch and probably a short LED strip light. I'll run it to a always hot lead in the fuse box.

Fair enough, looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Old thread, but I have a led replacement for the glove box bulb, but no idea how to aceess it... ideas??? Do I have to remove the whole box just to get to the bulb??

EDIT: got bored and tore apart the dash. That ltitle light is not meant to be swapped... I tried anyway, failed, and probably broke a few minor plasticker tabs at the same time... I'll probably add in an led strip if I really need to one day.
