GM 1 wire alternator on a 3.0?

My alternator on my 3.0 is bad & i need to get it fixed ASAP.... was thinking the GM 1 wire would be cheaper & better (higher amp) if I can put one in....
If anyone has a link to it, Id appreciate the help......

Yes I searched..... But everything Im finding if about the 22re...... Just too tired to keep reading....



may need to find the clicky starter fix too.

I dont think anyone has done the GM alternator on the 3vze. I have one on my 22R with a bracket, but havent found anything for the 3.0. I did find that you can get a 100amp MR2 alt for the 3.0. Or you can always go the custom wound route with premier power, boyles, etc. I think excessive amperage has one aswell.

Watch out for those aftermarket hi output alts, they don't always perform as advertised.
