This is the same set-up I am currently running and very happy with it. Great for long trips, keeps frozen food frozen and everything else chilled perfectly with very little power draw. Nice having ice for my triple distilled scotch or whiskey at the end of the night around a fire with friends. Ice cream on a hot day and food that will last for a long trip without having to constantly buy ice. Plus the YETI 400 110V portable power station has enough juice to power the fridge and other devices when needed and charges quickly with the Nomad 100 portable Solar Panel, 12V or from the wall. This set-up has made off grid camping with the 4-Runner exactly what I was hoping for, plus it offers a backup at home if the power goes out.

Compared with buying all of this separate from other sources cost is just over US$2,106.00 so a savings of US$357.00

Here is a picture of mine from over the weekend. Fridge fits perfectly behind the driver seat and the lid is reversible so you can have it either side you want.

They do have the slider as well and if you want it cost is US$125.00 when added to this package and lists for US$169.15. I believe that Dometic manufactures the ARB fridges as a comparison.

To give an idea of how little power this fridge/freezer uses, I ran it off of my 4Runner battery for 15hrs straight at -11C(Beer was nice and chilled), ice/steak/chicken/ice cream in the freezer stayed frozen and the battery dropped from 12.6V to 12.1V, so am happy with that. Also tested running it for 15hrs off of my Yeti 400, it still had about 75% capacity left and the voltage draw was minimal, only 12.4W - 13.4W consistent until the compressor kicked in for about 30sec every 20min which increased the draw to 50-55watt during the hot part of the day. The Nomad 100 solar panel easily charges the Yeti 400 during the day leaving more than enough capacity for other devices to be charged from it at night along with the fridge/freezer.

Did some hiking and fishing in K-Country this weekend, full extent of all the fires from BC was very obvious with all of the smoke and even ash falling. Figured it was a good way to test the Yeti 400 to see if the Nomad 100 could power it enough to run the Dometic fridge/freezer with very little sun coming through the smoke. Temp was 31C or 87.8F, Solar panel was able to give between 24W - 30W of power to the Yeti, left the Dometic at -14C or 6.8F, just to see. Also left the fridge/freezer outside in the sun. Did some hiking & fishing came back after 8hrs and the Yeti 400 was still topped up, so am happy with those results however am hoping we get rain soon to put those fires out. Either way am happy with these products, makes for comfortable camping/road trips with very little space used.
