Well, went to install the ladder and guess what? You got it, no instructions in the box. Does anyone happen to have a copy they can attach here or know where I can access them online? I went to their site and couldn't find any, and also did a search here and looked through 15 pages of threads and came up with nada. Thanks in advance for any help!

Not quite the ladder but it may help .. ?

Option 1 - Alvorbn

Option 2 - Okkis

I personally thought the instructions weren't very good

Your not kidding I thought they were horrible too. What they need to do is do a step by step and have a picture of what your suppose to do for each step, versus referring back and fourth to a bunch of different images and having the instructions all garbled into paragraphs, instead of individual steps.

I wonder if we have any Gobi Reps on the forum that we could make a request / suggestion to have this completed. Especially since the Gobi Group Buy is going on and the ladder comes free with all orders.

Lol- that's really funny.

Gobi product = awesome.

Gobi customer relations = horrible.

It's always been that way and probably always will.:deadhorse:

Sure after mine is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I opted for no ladder and substituted my sunroof insert.

I had multiple problems trying to contact them. At first when I ordered it back in February, it was great. I needed to contact them again because I was going to be sent out of town for a month or more and never heard from them. After calling a few times, I finally got through..needless to say I'm curious to see it arrive. I asked before purchasing if it was going to come pre-wired or not as the model number's weren't matching. I was informed that it would be pre-wired even though I choose no lights since I already had them.

I bought mine through Trail Duty. Took two months to get, which they stated up front but it was packaged perfectly and without any damage. Install took twice as long as I expected, but doesn't it always? The directions could certianly be more clear but I've found that to be the case with most of the stuff I've installed. I believe ToyTec is the only company that I've used that had clear instructions. Also installed the ladder and the sunroof insert. Both are great. I have a BajaRack ladder on my FJ and it feels like it wants to break if I climb up it. This one feels much more sturdy, as does the roof rack. The sunroof insert supports my weight fine (~200lbs). Very satisfied with the rack.
