Yes, just the ladder. Should have clarified that, sorry. A few pages and a month ago the discussion was centered around fabrication and shipping times for just the ladders and I was following up on that. GOBI ladders were taking just as long as their racks and Baja was next to impossible to get a hold of.
Final answer was not to use a distributor (sorry TD, etc.) and order direct. Even though using TD, etc. would have saved me ~$15 the middle man delay would have cost me a couple of weeks... trip lined up so I wanted my ladder sooner.

ound: What we call "only" when we consider wait times for these racks.I'm in week 15 after they sent the e-mail to me saying my approximate ship date was last week. I was expecting 16ish weeks simply because that seemed to be the average; however, 24 -25 weeks is being mentioned now. LOL, I have NO IDEA when to expect this thing. Whoever said 24-25 weeks: was yours part of a group buy?
I ordered a Stealth no-rise on June 9th. Installed by Gobi today (8/30). So about 12 weeks. They actually booked my install appointment the day I placed the order. Spent the last month assuming they would call and push it back (based on some of the lead times I've seen in this thread), but they never did. Guess it helps being in Colorado...
Wowzer, that is the fastest yet. Maybe now that they are done with the 181-person group buy from last Winter, anything after June will be quicker. At least here's hoping for us non-Colorado folks.

I ordered my no rise gobi in may and those snailtaints just shipped it out this week.
I ordered on May 4th. Nothing fancy just the stealth rack with rise. They sent me an email on the 21st of August saying that the rack is scheduled to be released to the freight company the week of August 29th. I have not received the Gobi notification of when it was picked up by the freight company so I'm assuming it was a generic email. The email states that current lead times are 12 weeks but I'm sitting at just about 17 weeks. I ordered the rack before I ordered the TRD Pro and the vehicle showed up first! I hear that Gobi is run by Isis, can anyone confirm this rumor?

I think this wouldn't be so bad if they would just dedicate themselves to being open and honest with where each order is. I can understand an updates saying, "your sixth in line, which mean production on x date(s), and deliver should occur on x date". But instead we get the generic e-mail that seems to act like a real update. Mine was said to be shipped the week of the 21st of August. Here we are in September, and counting...making me feel like a sucker.

Since we are on the subject. Why did you choose Gobi or the Baja?
I went with Baja mainly for the 3/4 length rack. I have a moon roof and even with the cut out didn't wont to impede on its function in any way. either physical function or just looking through it?? Call me crazy. lol

Order gobi may 5th .. aug 30 received email about shipping to expect call in 5-10 business days but "many times it will be faster than this"
3 weeks and 14 business days i still have not gotten a call from freight... is this normal?

I order mine May 5th.......Still Waiting.
I finally got an invoice and was charged for my rack this morning. They stated in the email that it is expected to ship next week. The fact that they charged me is a good thing, I'm hoping. The funniest part of this whole thing is check out the "date of invoice". I received it this morning. Classic Gobi. One thing that I did not expect when inspecting the invoice is the two struts they added to the order free of charge and a sorry for the long wait time. Now I was on the fence about ordering these as I wanted to wait until I mounted the ladder first and see just how much it affected the lift gate, so no I don't have to make that decision since they made it for me. It was a nice surprise and I've attached the invoice for you to see. Those struts aren't cheap. Let me know what you think.

PDF opens fine for me. Lasy guy was using Taptalk so that could be his issue.
When did you order?
I got my confirmation 9/22, just a day different than you did, but it looks exactly the same with the same 9/1 invoice date. I honestly didn't see the gas springs on there until you mentioned it, but it would seem that they did the same for me. Now lets see if we actually get the rack within the time-frame (5-10 bus. days).
I'm in Charlotte, NC...figuring it will take every bit of the time, but hey, maybe I'll be surprised at this point.

Could be the issue, it's working in Chrome now.
My order was $1570.50 for my Rack w/ no rise, ladder, wind deflector, and HD struts. Then TrailDuty charged Tax for Texas, I added awning mounts and my total came out to $1808.27.
