Going to replace speedo cable on a 95 4runner SR5

My speedometer and odometer do not work at all and I also get a speed sensor code, I was going to replace the cable but was wondering what else I'm going to need, I found this little gear part on eBay for the speedometer and was wondering if a new cable will already have that gear or will I need to get it separately?

Also when I was trying to find out why the cluster wasn't functioning properly, I took off the lower dash panel cover and there's this metal plate under the steering column, when I tried to take off the 7mm bolts on that, one of them snapped on me, anybody know where I can find these bolts, they are a golden 7mm bolt

The speed sensor? I'm not to sure if it's that or the cable

Can I disconnect the cable from the transfer case and lube it from there or do I have to lube it from the dash

became a searcher, wanting to discover who i was and what made me precise. my view of myself turned into changing. i desired a stable base to start from. i commenced to resist3 stress to behave in ways that i didn’t like any greater, and i used to be delighted by who i in reality become. i got here to feel a good deal extra sure that no one can ever take my region.

Ok now I'm really confused, I know the cable I have looks pretty beat but if it's a speed sensor, I have no clue which one it is

When I use my vin to find it, the part that comes up is

8941135010

I'm not sure this is the right part, I just wanna make sure before buying it, it's rather expensive than any of the other speed sensors I have found, does anybody have a picture of it's location

Pretty sure the actual speedometer is the “sensor” on the 2nd gens.

Physical spinning cable>speedometer>pcm for signal

Found cable, looks trashed, outside on the transfer case side, the cable actually has a little lube leaking but not dripping just, globbed up on the on of the cable, speed sensor on tranny looks fine, unless there is a way to tell, the wires don't look damaged either, this truck apparently only has one speed sensor, when you look my truck up on Toyota parts deal or Toyota parts center, only a speed sensor on the transmission comes up, and just the cable, I don't know if the Japanese models were different, could the cable throw the code? Or could the sensor actually be bad

Ok I could really use your help here folks, the sensor I found is on the driver's side, it ha a black and green wire, I am having trouble pulling the sensor out of the transfer case, no matter how much i try to get it off, it feels stuck on there, any suggestions? There's a bolt next to it but I don't know if that would loosen it, I can post pics, any help would be great appreciated!
