Good AZ Offroading spots

Sorry I just got back into town. Hope you were able to explore sedona!
I did explore Sedona. Stopped at Barlow Jeep rental and they were nice enough to give me maps and information. I was disappointed in the trails though. I ran 3 trails on Saturday and the only one that had a challenge at all was Broken Arrow and there wasn't much of a challenge there for me. A female Pink Jeep tours driver yelled at me. I happened to catch up to her on the trail. She decided to pull up next to another Jeep, on what I would call a U turn on the trail, and proceeded to back up so she could park. She yelled at me I guess for not reading her mind and knowing she wanted to back up to park. Evidently she thought she owned the trail.

Unfortunately because of all the Jeep tour/rental companies Sedona has become a Jeep type town. So they usually dont like it when the see a 4Runner, Tacoma, or FJ out on the trail. However it is funny that when you pass by the employee parking lots for these companies you see more Toyotas than any other vehicle. I had a tour driver get upset with me because someone in his group was upset that s seemingly stock looking SUV made it out to where they were which they of course advertise has a extreme off road adventure. He told me I was lucky that I made it out there.

For Broken Arrow, Pink Jeeps own the exclusive rights to bring tours on the trail however they do not own the rights to the trail, but they often think they do.

Well I hope you had a good time here anyway. I personally love the beauty here and small town feel. Hiking, off roading, and water all within a few square miles makes for a nice place to live for me. Hope you trip continues to go well!
