I am currently trying to get away from my 315,000 mile money or innthe shape of a 2003 ford 6.0 diesel. Would this 2006 limited v8 with 132k miles be a good buy? IMG_2679.jpg

I don't see the price anywhere, or whether or not it's 4wd (if that's important to you.) However, the vehicle looks well cared for, the timing belt is up to date, since it's from Florida rust shouldn't be a problem, and in general a V8 with 132K miles still has a lot of life left in it. I have an '06 V8 with 145K miles, and I still feel like I'm driving a new vehicle. If the price is right, go for it.

Sorry, asking price is 11900 and from my understanding the v8 engine is awd? Is that correct? Dealership pages says 5speed auto with overdive and it's 4wd

That seems like a reasonable price for a 4wd. All V8's were either full-time 4wd (awd?) or 2wd only. No switchable 2wd-4wd transfer case like the V6.

You will want to test the 4wd and center diff-lock actuators to make sure they work. If they haven't been used for years they can get sticky and refuse to shift, and the fix is quite expensive. Do some searching on this forum for details on that issue.

Looks like it was taken care of and schedule maintenance. If it is a v8, it is full-time 4wd(has a transfer case), not awd. I would check if it can switch into 4lo and see if the center lock works. If it doesnt work that can be a very spendy repair and I would stay away from that(unless you like tinkering with things!). Check the underbody for rust and frame condition. Check the cv. Also ask if other fluids were changed(tranny, diffs, transfer case, power steering, brake). If all checks out then I think you got yourself a solid vehicle. With 132k miles, that thing is just getting warmed up.
