Hey y'all,

I was recently offered 12k for my Toyota 3rd Gen 2002 SR5 4x4 w/ 180k miles. I've listed it for 11.5k and have honestly gotten 10 hits in 24 hours which makes me feel like I listed it too cheap (but 12k at 180k miles seems pretty great??) What do you think? Sell it or raise the price?

Here are the upgrades...

• 4x4 Innovations tire swing away w/ gas can, high lift and camping table
• 33" Toyo Open Country Tires
• 3" Toytec/Eibac complete Coilovers struts
• Black Tokico 80 Series LC SHOCKS (3" rear adjusting for weight)
• External tranny cooler
• Light Racing UCA's
• SS Super Soft Rear Bump Stops
• SS Extended Break Lines
• Custom made Infidel top rack w/ light
• Custom made Raingler ceiling cargo net

Maintenance: Brand new timing belt & water pump. New axels. New radiator. Everything made with all OEM except for Denso radiator.

There's a difference between people hitting you up vs. actually producing the cash.

I'd take the $12K if I were you.

Agreed if this is a CL listing and the people are legit then take it. Only you can determine if the price is right. At 180k you should be looking at 5-7k for "stock" truck and your getting a premium on that for a "built" rig. Depending on age of equipment as all that stuff depreciates its your call if its worth it to move on.

You know the saying money talks and BS walks. Put these buyers to the test.

I couldn't let myself sell mine for that much.. I have easily over 20K into it. I could never build one as equipped for 12K :/

I agree. Take the money and count yourself lucky.

I've got mine for sale now for $10k and its more built than yours with all sorts of armor. Granted it has more miles than yours too. These are getting harder to find rust free and that should catch a little more given you are in SoCal and I am in TX.

Good luck, I hope you get what you are asking.

What would you replace it with at what cost? I agree it's a lot of money but if it's worth more to you don't sell.
I'm probably an anomaly, especially on this forum but I wouldn't pay more for a modded truck. The good general maintenance is a big plus but I only do light wheeling and mine is a DD so box-stock is where I dwell.
I guess what I'm saying is if you're gonna get another 4R and make it the same, keep it. If you're like me and want another Gen3 for a DD, take the money, buy the next one and keep the difference.
Ditto on the CL BS. Show me the money.
