Even if was a joke, looks those guys "rent/lease/borrow/other type of borrowing" the car, do the review and then return the car. Is that right?

Then somebody will buy that car thinking was slight used with low mileage and maybe $500 discount. Why buy such a car when you can get a new one, never used thru mud/snow/ice.

For the more legitimate review websites/series/youtube reviewers, the cars are likely "demo" cars that will ultimately go back to the manufacturer and be turned into scrap.

I thought maybe the $5000 over MSRP would clue people in to sarcasm, but I guess it reminds me of the California dealer that advertised a TRD Pro $20,000 over MSRP and was serious about it. So maybe $5000 wouldn't be out of the question.

Meh. Not a great review - those big chunks of ice are a real wildcard and hard to know what's underneath.

That's not beating on it though. He just got stuck in the mud/ice a couple of times. My Runner gets worse than that most weekends in the summer. They weren't hurting it at all.
