Good Place to get a factory air filter box

Where is a good place I can find a factory air filter box for a 2003 V8? I just purchased the 4runner and I just noticed one of the 4 clips that holds the 2 pieces of the air box together is broken off. Looks like I need a new lower half with the clips on it.

I'd check craigslist. See if anyone is parting out a 2003 T4R. Maybe check ebay. Or junk yards.

Or you could get one brand new from Conicelli Partznet | Used dealership in , or the like.

i have the same issue, they come up from time to time on here, you can only get the whole damn thing from the stealer, and its brutal. Check your local junkyards.

Yeah the ones I have found are way too expensive especially being used. It sucks you cant just purchase the lower half.

wait until you see someone post they have added a CAI, see if they will sell their stock box

Unfortunately, they are expensive and most bone-yards know what they're worth. I had the same problem and went the K&N CAI route because it was about the same as buying a used air box.

For a temporary fix, you can wrap zip-ties around the box.

Post up wanted in the for sale/wanted section. I did that and a couple guys had them. If you can get one for $100 or less, you're doing good. If I had to do it over, I would've replaced the stock box instead of the K&N.
