Good source for switched 12V (pref. under the dash)

Does anyone know a good source for a switched 12V that comes on with the key in the ACC position?

Preferably under the left side of the dash? I can go hunting with a multimeter but that would take a while with that mess of wires down there.

Hoping to install some aux lights this weekend. Yes I'm using a relay.

Can you expand on this?

I already purpose-built the wiring harness fora 3-prong switch. I have a 20amp fuse on the link itself and a 3amp one on the 12V for the power for the LED on the switch. I think it would be easier to finalize if I just knew a location that had switched 12V with the ACC position.

unsure what your doing but a normal circuit would be like this
power wire from battery with a fuse as close to battery as possible - run this wire to a relay
from relay to light or whatever your hooking up
ground from relay to ground
acc wire from a switched source to switch- then from switch to relay
then ground wire from light or whatever your hooking up to ground

so in your case find a fuse that only powered when key is on
then buy an add a circuit pull fuse plug in add a circuit then install fuse
i will send over a diagram when i get home

See the part I highlighted in bold? That's the part I'm missing. I can sit there with a multimeter and hunt for one, or I could call on the collective knowledge of this board to see if someone has already done it and can just tell me which one to use.

I am not new to wiring up a relay for Aux lights - I already built the harness and it's ready to be installed. I was just trying to make the process more efficient.

idk use a tester
but i know on my truck the radio or cig lighter only works when key is on
or at least it did until i fixed that

Did you ever end up finding a circuit to grab off of? All the replies above were entirely unhelpful lol
