Tire choice depends on circumstances

If you regulary drive off-road, I 100% agree , get a tire that performs well off-road.
But for the overwhelming majority of 4x4 owners (all makes) they are our daily drivers and we made the choice for 4wd because of the area we live in and the snow encountered in Winter when we have to get to work.
If the truck stays on road 99.99% of the time it makes much better sense to get a superior all-season tire made exclusively for the road. I'll take safe handling and braking performance over the look of an all-terrain tire any day.
