Solid. Great looking dog. We have a GSD from W. Germany, Black and red. Good dog, great BL and plenty of drive for us. She is just under a year and we have completed her BH and started first stages of bite work.
Great set up you have! I have been kicking around the idea of doing something similar but that wish list for the runner is getting longer and longer.

My plate system and drawer are on order, so it's nice to see someone else with theirs all set up. Love how it turned out....and the lap dog isn't too shabby either.

What fridge slide is that [MENTION=124732]LawnDart[/MENTION]? Is that the Tembo Tusk slide? How does it handle the power cable in the extended/drop configuration? been looking at that slide for my upcoming fridge project.

Correct. It's the load spotter. Also heads up jerry/tembo will be discontinuing this slider. It's just incredibly complex to make so if you want one act soon. The cable goes between the triangle created by the gas piston and the slider. It won't cut snagged or pinched. It is an amazing slide. Not cheap. But amazing.

I had my girlfriend send me some dimensions, but she wasn't sure if it came out. Tray is 32" long and that is an additional 9" correct? Looks to me like it just comes out with a couple bolts, then it's one uniform level from the bottom of the seat to the back, in respect to the mounting holes anyway.

Is the GG base 3/4"?
You said your box is 6" is that overall or drawer space?
How deep are your drawers themselves, and are you happy with the storage capacity?

I haven't done all the exact measurements. Goosegear built this to my overall height spec. I needed the unit no taller than 6 inches since I carry the dog crate quite often. Due to this, the storage space is more limited. If I didn't have to carry the dog, I would be the large, deep, multi-drawer system on one side and fridge slide on the other. That said, the beauty of the plate system is that you can swap setups VERY easily. The hardware is permanently built into the tray, with exact spacing for all modules.

I love GSD's. I think they are the best breed. Congrats on the BH title and keep up the good work. Make sure you keep the bite work fun. It's all about the fun. Thanks for the kind words. I understand the wish list. My truck is a 2010 model and I just got this and a CBI rear bumper this week. I don't know how the guys run out and get it all done at once. I could never afford that.

This is great. I had never seen the GooseGear before, but looks like quality stuff. I spent a lot of time doing my own custom design from aluminum extrusion a couple years ago, but never got around to posting anything, so I finally added some details here:

I had similar goals of a low profile drawer to accommodate our SAR dogs.

How is your Dynamat substitute working out? Did you have to drill much for the plate system?

I removed all of the flooring and drove around with it out for about one week prior to my install. I didn't notice any additional noise with everything out so I cannot really tell that the Dynamat substitute did anything at all. Goosegear doesn't really suggest it one way or another. They just advise some people do it. I think it is worth the money as it goes in VERY easy, and if nothing else, maybe will provide some insulation.

The Goosegear plate system is 100% NO DRILL. The system bolts into factory location with new hardware supplied by Goosegear.

That's fantastic work! I looked at trying something myself, but to be completely honest, I just don't have the skills to pull it off.

I am a little disappointed that the modular pieces don't take up the whole space between the wheel wells like the double drawer you have.

This is the best photo I have of the distance between the Goosegear drawer system and wheel well. I would guess it is a touch over an inch.

I don't have any pictures of how it mounts. The plate system has threaded nuts throughout the surface area. They are flush mounted to the top making a completely flat surface area with nothing installed. These threaded nuts are designed to mate with various sliding brackets on various GG drawer and fridge systems so that the user simply lines up the drawer/fridge/whatever bracket with the threaded holes and inserts bolts to hold in place. The only tool needed to add or remove modules from the plate system is a ratchet and socket.
