The only chance the GOP had was with Paul. They blew it. Romney v/s Obama? Like it really matters now... Eyes roll. Frankly the GOP has not earned a turn at the Presidency. Nearly everything the GOP sheep blame Obama for was passed by a GOP controlled house of Representatives.

Its not completely over for Paul. There are two scenarios, if he wins Nebraska he is automatically on the ballot in Tampa.
#2 there is a lawsuit in the 9th central district of California federal court against Romney, his campaign, the Republican National Committee and all its chairpeople. There are over 300 plaintiffs with proof that Romney and the RNC violated federal voting laws and committed voter fraud. They are also challenging the Republican Rules that state that a delegate can be bound. Federal law states that every person voting in presidential and federal elections should be free to "vote their conscience" without interference from anyone. That overrides the RNC rules that state that delegates are bound.
If that federal judge rules in favor of the plaintiffs, I can almost guarantee you that there will be some fireworks in Tampa when it comes to the nomination.
Frankly, it would be the best move for the Republican party if they really want to win. But the fact is Repubs are all controlled by the same people in power behind Obama and the same people that controlled Bush and Clinton... they all get their money from the same place and those corporations and those in power will do everything they can not to let someone like Paul win the nomination or presidency. It would threaten too many rich peoples livelyhoods. if anybody wants more info, feel free to PM me or look me up on Google Plus or Facebook.
