i just had the blend door actuator changed now the ac is working like its supposed to but its still hot on the driver side and cold on the passenger side. I am going to go out on the limb and guess its low on freon.
But when i hit the AC button to turn it on i have some weird noise coming from the motor as soon as the compressor kicks on. My mechanic said it was the AC clutch and i never heard of something like that. I asked, you mean fan clutch he said no AC CLUTCH. Then i tried to look for that part, couldnt find it and now he says its the compressor. what do you guys think?

i just got all the FJ suspension goodies installed. Bilstein 5100s all around with the front set to 2.5. FJ springs installed with a 1.5 daystar spacer and camburg UCA in the front.
Originally i was going to go with a 285/70/17 but now im having 2nd thoughts about that. Now I am thinking of staying a little more narrow and sticking with a 265 but seeing if i can get it in a 75 series profile. Would you guys go taller or wider and a little taller? i know both might give me a little rubbing but nothing a little shaving cant fix. And i do want to put the same size tire on my spare if i can and fit it back up underneath. This is a 2wd v8 so it wont be going offroad just daily driving mainly on freeway and back roads.
