Got a 07 FJ

Whats up guys and gals I traded off my taco a couple months ago for a FJ. My boy just turned three and he was to cramped in the ext cab. It had 65K on it when I bought it has 68 now. Its done great I drive 1000 miles a month to work 52miles one way I work 24hr shifts so I only work 10 days a month:driving:. I changed the plugs yesterday every one was gapped off like crazy. I checked the spacing on the stock plugs set them all to .040. I drove it last night and I felt like i could tell a bit of a difference. We have a 11 TE 4R
thats our primary family ride so I would like to play a bit with the FJ. I know when these tires wear out I'll be slapping the BFG AT's on. Its a work in progress would love any tips anyone has to provide. Its an automatic has the locker and atrac sub woofer from the factory other than that stock.
My 03 I traded for the FJ.

Well thats all for now. I got my mag light mounted below the rear passenger seat so its easy to grab from the driver seat. Ill get some pics of it later. I plan on a cold air intake K&N filter and BFG's soon.:girl:

Alright got the plugs changed maglight in and put some old seat covers I had in the tacoma in for now until I can get some nice color match canvas ones. Anyone have any suggestions on seat covers? I would like black made to fit my kid just wears the backs out climbing around and kicking it from his seat:wtf:

Don't these FJ come with seat side airbags?? Are those seat covers compatible??

I believe they do and no their not! I took the ties out of the out side so they would pop at the seams:nono:just a temp fix still on the hunt for new covers.

Congrats on the trade, both great Toys, but the FJ has power, and the truck was an SUV and a Truck at the same time so they both offer their highs and lows... Good Luck with your FJ :trophy:

It is it's a factory option only thing these models are missing from the trail models that year I believe are the factory fog lights. Sorry took so long been messing around on tacomaworld. It's worked out really well so far I'm up to 72 on the odo now no problems could get better gas mpg but it's a big brick and a heavy right foot doesn't help.

It brings a certain hey this guy might shoot me for messing with my FJ look:50cal: I have loved the fj so far just had second baby boy Christmas Eve and the room has run out in the fj! So great news back on hunt of 4runner woohoo! Found a 08 sr5 one owner at my local dealer that we've bought 4 yotas from already. Has 80k on it sr5 moonroof luggage rack running boards hitch 4x4 of course. Keep you guys posted wish me luck. :bigok:

Congrats!!

I just sold my 2007 FJ. Before that I had two Tacomas. The FJ is a great rig and with a 3" lift, it's so solid on the roads and lots of fun. I do miss it. Currently searching for a 4RNR... but hey... maybe i'll go back to a FJ again. But not silver... need a blue one to match my handle
