Got a front end shake

Difflock

Just over bumps when turning specifically its pretty bad. I replace lbjs and tie rod ends, sway bar links a week ago which seemed to help a bit but probably wasn't the problem to begin with. I have sloppy steering rack bushings but I dont think that would make it wobble the way its wobbling could be wrong though, any Ideas? Im thinking maybe look at the control arms next?

Replace the steering rack bushings with Energy polys. Best $21 I ever spent. Stopped my steering wheels vibrations but the job is a little bit of a pain!

A big hammer, a lift and some beer helps... I think I did mine before the 4WD swap, so I don't remember if the diff gets in the way...

It's been a few years but I dont remember the diff getting in the way. I remember after getting the poly bushings in place, manhandling the rack back into place to insert the bolts was hard. Probably easier with rubber bushings as they give a little more.

I have ordered the bushings and will be changing them but would there be anything else to look for? I did the work mentioned above and will be doing bushing, also my sway bar bushing are shot Ill be changing those also. I ordered rack bushings and sway bar bushings

One little tiny tip for the rack bushing replacement- the nut that is at the center is tacked in, only the bolt is removable.

The diff does not get in the way unless you have a diff drop. If so then simply remove the drop and use one of the bolts to lift the diff up out of the way.

I set the parking brake, wheels on level ground, unlock the steering wheel, truck off, and have the kid move the steering wheel while I look for things moving weirdly, such as the control arms.
