Got aftermarket RS3000 remote alarm fobs.

I have the 2 original RS3000 remote alarm fobs for my 96 T4R. They both worked fine until one got wet when I left it in the door pocket with the window open a few inches in a heavy rain. I like the size and shape of the remotes but they were a little beat up. I saw 1 original replacement was $70. I shopped around and found an aftermarket pair for under $30! It took me about 2 minutes to program them. They seem to be working fine now. I'll post a follow up if I have any problems with them.

***I would check your ignition key for wear. If it is really worn like mine is, switch it out with the spare or better yet get a new one cut from the spare.

I got my new remote fobs off of ebay from yourkeylessremote. They have 4 buttons, lock, unlock, trunk and panic. My original only has 1 active button, so only 1 button (unlock, lock/activate alarm) works on my new fobs.
