Got off road onto some trails finally

Had our 4runner for over a month now and finally got it off road and onto some trails!

Nothing too major- did some stream crossings, a bit of ice and mud, some small climbs. These trails are not far from where we live so it was convenient. We really want to get it out on the beach, but that is an hour and half away so we usually make that a whole day trip.

I had previously posted concerns about the all-season tires (they are 32" but do not have an aggressive tread) however they did fine, plenty of traction in the conditions we experienced.

Looking forward to more fun

Yeah it was more fun than nothing. NC has some better stuff; beaches are an hour and a half east (actually pretty fun wheeling especially on the south end of Carolina Beach), but an hour and half west of us are the Uhwarrie mountains off road trails. We'll try and head there at some point but we have heard those are pretty serious, the kind of trails you should go on with other vehicles to help get you unstuck and people to help guide over rocks, etc.

Rileyru, where do you live in NC? I'm just outside of Raleigh, and have been looking to do a little trail riding, nothing too crazy, just get out and get the tires a little dirty...
