Got one!

Well, it took a ~3.5 hour drive (each way) from San Francisco to Reno, NV...but a new SR5 Premium 4WD is in my hot little hands. Wanted to get Grey but settled for Silver.

Pictures to come. Now to get some step bars and a black out kit.

I know already that y'all are going to be a bad influence on my wallet.

Congrats!!!

I had a silver 4th gen. When I first got it I didn't like the color, but it grew on me. I loved that it always looks clean because it is so light.

Now I have a gray 5th gen. I love and the darker color. But it does not hide the dirt like the silver did.

I always hated silver, bland, boring and too common. I had no choice cause the silver was the only 2014 model on the lot for cheap $$.

But...after driving it through the winter I am glad I ended up with this color because dirt is less visible compared to white and darker colors. Also, when you take it off-roading the pinstripes and scratches are less visible. Glad I did not go with black or nautical blue as I originally wanted.

The wife had 2 gray Toyotas, LX470 and RX350. Both showed swirls like crazy (if that matters to you). I recently waxed my silver SR5, and the pin striping seems to have disappeared. You did well.
