Got stuck, I really need new shoes for the Runner!!!

well..... I am glad that some had better luck then me. When I bought the truck I was living in wyoming. the road to my place gained about 1500 feet from pavement to the end of my driveway..... I had to use 4x4 to keep will spin down, between traction that did not really work for be, and having two of them blow out in a week with less then 5k on them, I was forced into a replacement. I had planned on running them intill the snow flew because they never would have cut it where I moved after wyoming, But I did not get that choice

Toyota suggested that I might have gotten some bad ones, but they did not feel bad enough about it to replace them, I think they were great on dry pavement, but lacked the desired effect in heavy rain, they ( at least for me) preformed poorly under load. I totaly get that I put my truck through some things that most people do not, but I had to air up with 500 lbs in the bed or they would bludge like crazy and ride poorly
they just didn't cut it in the mountains, road, or dirt.
if they work for ya, good, saves money tires aint cheap!

I'm replacing my stock Bridgestones this week. I got 33k miles out of them. The only issue I had was a slow leak developed at the bead. TPMS kicked off 10 mins before getting on a 70mph hwy.
The rights wore out faster than the lefts. For some reason Toyota doesn't recommend a cross style rotation.

I'd venture that you have very unusual, trying conditions compared to the normal consumer. When I drove to Yellowstone to backpack, I ended up having to drop $850 on new tires for my GTI after a dirt road excursion in the Bear Tooth mountains.
