Got stuck!

So recently I got stuck at the beach kinda bad in my 04 4runner. I'm just wondering what is some preventive maintenance I can do to make sure every thing is all good. And also what do you think can come of being submerged in water like this over night.

Water does not appear to over the sill plates?did water come into car?
If not no big deal just ck fluid in your rears to be sure water did not enter thru vents

You could lube your back brakes/parking brake. I would change diff fluid if the pumpkin was completely submerged but doesn't look like it was that bad.

Other than that, get yourself a lift and good set of tires to help you get thru it next time!

get a winch and some anchors

Check the front tie rod boots and cv boots too. Make sure there wasn't water infiltration. If they don't have any tears and the clamps are tight you should be ok.

Yea no water came in. And I don't think it was completely submerged. Just kinda dragging in the Sand half way.

Get some MTR's and a friend who can pull you out or a winch. Winch and anchors in the only sure fire way to get out of most issues.

Keep a watchful eye (& ear) on the wheel bearings.

You'll be fine. The wheel bearings on the passenger side likely saw some moisture. Just keep driving until something sounds off. Nothing will fail catastrophically.

If they go bad, it'll sound like you're running super swampers.
