Lights!
The following image took a person of my mechanical...ahem...ability, only 1.75 hours. "The easiest bulb to replace", he said. Oh, sure, like twisting the reverse light bulb, pulling and pushing the LED, twisting again...? That easy? No.
I scratched at the little black screen (what is it doing there?) for a length of time, then pulled out the whole bulb seat. Realizing that installing the bulb and fumbling with the seat would cause the bulb to just fall out, decided to push the thingy back to where it should connect...this took the most time, simply would not go back through the glove box body opening and go back to where it was installed many years ago.
Did I break some of the plastic? Yes.
Is the little screen in the proper juxtaposition? No.
Does the d*mn light go on? Yes.
Has it fallen out (yet)? No!
Was I on the verge of a conniption? Yes!

But wait, there's more. A set of LED's came in today. I have no idea where or how they are to be installed. With deduction, I determined the general idea, but the confusion comes from too many of some components and not enough of the others, so I'm clueless. The packing slip had no itemization and there was no diagram to apply to the existing lights.
I hope the vendor can straighten this out or they will all go back...:rant:

Forgot to say, I learned something else new when I installed the front plate. The mounting holes integrated into the grill/bumper on Canadian vehicles are spaced wider apart than in the US. Had to drill both the cover and the plate, so this is technically my first custom modification...:usa:

Well, solved a few mysteries.
This is one of them.
The other thing is a tire pressure light that would not go out, even after checking the pressures on four on the ground (not including the spare). But, after routine tire roto today, the light is out. I'm sure that can was kicked down the road.

Filters!
Just picked up a Wix air filter at O'Reilly, 26 bucks and change.
They had two cabin filters, one was a Wix and the other was their store brand, Microguard, 23 and 22 bucks, respectively. Seemed like a lot. The OEM is about 25.00
So, I checked Amazon and just ordered a Bosch engine air filter and an "EPAuto" cabin filter, for a total of just under 28 bucks. I think these will work just fine for a year.
I've purchased more Bosch filters in my lifetime than I can count.
