agreeed! people keep telling me to just do a spacer lift and i really want to do it right the first time. I'm keeping me eye out for some ICON coilovers or the Toytec which i really want.

This weekend i plan on taking off the brush guard, I also ordered some killer ABS plastic grill material so that I can relocate my lights in the valence and add to the grill. If it comes in today i may try to tackle this. I think it should give it a good look. My buddy keeps bugging me about doing the Andy mod so i may do that too. we'll see

I think losing the brush guard will look good. We could trade service, I'll help you with the lift if you'll help me with the LEDs in the dash.

tomorrow Im gonna start the face-lift. Its gonna involve using some of this

I hope i have enough but it should be good.

Let me ask you guys something. A have a couple things and I don't want to waste space starting a new thread but while browsing though everything I noticed my PCV valve or A/F whatever it is had some oily gunk around it and it was kind of loose. Is that normal? about a week ago i got a P1130 code. I cleared it and it never came back on but do you guys think this could be an issue?

this is after i cleaned the surface but you can still see some of the junk on there

next week is spring break so i bought some plastidip and other stuff. I should be getting the "satoshi style" grill and valence done this week

So its hard to tell from the pictures . . . what type of finish does the mesh have? Is it like a matte or flat black? Smooth or textured finish?

yeah sorta, I'm not ready for the complete satoshi grill because with the 01 grill I have to get into some heavy fabrication with fiber glass. The middle piece is integrated into the whole grill. So right now im just gonna fill in the upper and lower vents. This grill material is perfect for it though, so ill do it some day.

I was worried about the same thing when i ordered it. I didn't want a flat black. But this it's exactly what i wanted. It's kind of hard to explain, next time you are around a parking lot, check out all the cars that have the black mesh, its exactly like that.

I'd add it to your current grill, and see if you like it. If not, you can still do the satoshi mod....???

thanks guys, to tell you the truth , i haven't even seen it during the day yet lol. lots of work, and no play but i got tomorrow off so im gonna try and complete this and do the grill with the pieces that i have left. I also got a lovely CEL P0440 (i think) so i may be working on that too, Hopefully get something useful done tomorow
