here are some more pics of the progress, definitely have to do the upper grill. I was going to do it today but i drained myself out getting the lights in there. I started getting sloppy with paint and a little bit of the cutting decided to stop while i was ahead.

thanks guys, I tried to get the cutting as close to the light as possible but it was pretty hard. there are some gaps where my OCD kinda slaps me around a little so i may have to look for some molding or something to put around the light holes

but yeah for the grill, i dont have enough to do a full satoshi grill and plus In my opinion (no offence to anyone) but i dont think it deserves the satoshi grill until it gets a good lift on it. I will be doing it with this stuff eventually cause its just awesome!

So for now i'm just gonna fill in the two sections of the grill with this stuff. I dont even know if i have enough for that but I'll be starting that tomorrow though, after the sea foam treatment

Reminds me of the 2011 Tacoma Grilles, which are also awesome looking!

Great work man. I like how you took the time to line up the holes in the honeycomb from one section of the grille to the next so that it all flows. It's the attention to detail like you displayed there that makes for well executed mods.

I don't know about the TRD emblem.... looks pretty sweet right now! That being said... if you did...try to get one that is Carbon Fibre looking or something??

thanks guys, I got a lot of plastic burns on my hands and chunks of this stuff all over the place but I'm happy with how it turned out. These pics dont do enough justice for me, Ill be getting some better shots soon.

Ripcord you cant do it cause it's gonna look so much cooler with your color scheme! haha J/K but honestly, i was worried i was gonna have to hack up the grille a lot and really all I had to do was some minor drilling and that was it. Pretty easy mod if you have the time and patience Looking forward to seeing it on yours though!

thanks fightman, yeah i found some black ones and some black pearl ones that i was contemplating on getting. my whole plan was to engrave a spot in the mesh so the emblem would fit flush with the grill, but yeah... i freaking done with the dremel, that hot plastic is painful!

Yeah.... it tends to melt pretty quick.... he he he! Well you know what they say.... sometimes... you have to suffer to look good! And it looks GREAT!
