Well that 100 dollar Tom Tom at Costco looked nice...

Tom Tom is garbage. You should really avoid that brand. Satellite acquisition is the slowest I have ever seen and tracking is almost as bad. Any place larger than a town and the Tom Tom can't track fast enough to keep up with the vehicle. Garmin is significantly better on units in the same price range as the Tom Tom i've used.

We have the tom tom in my wifes Urban Runner, it is garbage. id rather use a map.

We own two Garmins, NUVi street Pilot and NUVI 350 and I just bought a Kenwood 5120 to replace the junk Eclipse Tom Tom.

If you use Verizon you could get the Droid. I just got one and really like it. The GPS is nice too.
