Have had a absolutely horrible experience with their service department. They replaced the fuel pump and ever since It has been leaking out the vapor canister because they didnt vent the gas tank right. There suggestion was...no joke..drill a hole in my gas cap so it could vent....nevermind that dirt and water would get in there. I have had a horrible experience and they have made no effort to make me happy. I feel like because I have a older car..a 95 4Runner..they could care less and act like my car is a piece of crap. Please support me and NEVER buy a Toyota from this company.

Also wanted to know if anyone knows of a good Toyota Mechanic in the Mid-Michigan area?

This is offically my start of boycotting Grand Blanc Toyota. I talked to the owner today and he said because my car was not serviced previously by a "Certied Toyota Tech" that basically he screwed it up even though they were the last to work on it and it never had the problem before they worked on it. By the way this was the owner I talked to who was also completely arrogant and not willing to work with me. I guess the whole place is run by knuckleheads from top to bottom. What bugs me most is the fact the mechanic was not willing to admit he could have made a mistake.

If you are ever in the Lansing area, stay away from Spartan Toyota.

They are just as rude, along with the salesmen.

You guys should try to find a good mechanic that knows his way around Toyota's so you don't have to deal with the dealerships. The only reason I go to the dealership is to get parts, and every single time I pull up, 3 or 4 sales reps walk up to my door. They give you the smug smile and ask if they can help you look for a vehicle....

I just give them a little laugh and ask them if they can point out a truck on the lot that looks better than mine, and they walk away.

If you aren't under warranty anymore, there's no need for you to be put through rude harassing dealership employees, unless you can find one of the true honest ones. I have yet to find one locally here in southern California, they are all arrogant around here, but they must be out there somewhere.
