Green light action

I was at a green light just today the new eclispe V6, owner/driver looking over at me like how bout it. I looked and smiled green light apears guess what The Runner smoked the poor eclispe. Go V8 POWER...............

YEA YEA YEA. there isn't that much difference. And for the v6ers out there, the new H3 and H2's are a joke against us. At least we have that going for the 6
 
The "NEW" 06 Eclispe V6 has 263 HP and weighs 3500 lbs. so maybe it wasn't a real race!

I got beat by a Grand Cherokee driven by a lady the other day. Man that pissed me off and I still don't know how or why. She didn't get a jump. Maybe those bigger tires slowed me down a bit. I'm still miffed that I was beat by a GC.

When you replace your 03 with a new one in a few years you'll have no problem with those little GCs. :)

BOTH!!! LOL Man I'm having a hard time dealing with this, it makes me want the SC. And I don't know if the VVTI engine would have made a difference, maybe but I'm not sure.

This happened at a light where right after the intersection the two lanes go to one and she had just enough to take the lane.:bash:

The new Hemi powered Grand Cherokees are fast i will give them that. They can "out accelerate" quite a few of the sportier cars.
 
Sorry man, I know EXACTLY how that feels. I wish I knew how to turn that feeling off because I get it too - I wish I wasn't so competitive sometimes!

Hmm, that reminds me...Koz, weren't you supposed to race your friend w/ the hemi GC? Just curious.
 
Not like i do this or anything, but if i were to race someone, would you start in 1 then 2 then 3 the OD or just start in 3 for the best jump.

Just let the AT do its job - trying to "change gears" on an AT will only slow you down.

I just leave it in D. Give it a little brake torque if you think its gonna be close and you really want a good jump. I tried starting in 1, but bounced off the rev limiter which is right at redline, so the computer/tranny does a better job here.

3500 LBS? Wow that's pretty plump. What's the 4Runner, like 4200 curb? I'd imagine the 4Runner's nice low 1st gear and AWD gave it the advantage off the line...
