Do they come with those blue lights in there? I will be able to run blues in 2 years when I graduate and can get my blues permit from my chief, this would be a lot cleaner than the retrofit I was thinking to do with my mirrors. Thanks in advance!

Correct, they come with a multicolor LED that is blue and flashes amber when turn signals are on. The finish is chrome and there are puddle lights which I will wire to my reverse lights rather than my parking lights.

Yehhh, I'm afraid you won't be able to find them. I was in Japan for 18 months and found these on Yahoo auctions. I dropped about a hundred on them and the black would have been double that. I plan to down the road paint my flares to match my Surf stickers and will at the same time have these paintedainkiller: black to match. I can get a set but it would take time and as you can imagine coin.

Correct, I can look into getting some but would take some time. I tried to get them on today but will need to do some research on removing the stock housing. All the screws were ridiculously tight even with rust stripper and wd40. Trying again tomorrow.

Lights, tranny cooler and Surf sports grille installed. Tried to knock out mirror covers but screws and trying to remove without breaking anything was a real PITA! Tailgate and retrying covers tomorrow. Cheers guys! Promise better pics and a wash tomorrow.

Upcoming stuff

After tomorrow I'll be focusing on Tundra brake upgrade and LEDs all throughout the truck. PS: the lights are Kickarse. Tied the rings into the parking lights and have to say that while I was planning to do a DRL disable I think I'll pass for the time being given how much I'm loving the output. More to come. Yeah I'd seriously be interested in some. I've been throwing around ideas to integrate some blinkers into my existing housings but if I could get a set already with those then that would be way better. And yeah those screws under the mirror are tough. When I removed mine to be painted I found it easier to remove the whole mirror from the inside by removing the door panel and tweeter cover and then taking it off with the arm part. It's just three bolts from the inside. It then makes it easier to get those screws on the underside so you don't strip them.

Surf tailgate installed!

Writing from my iPhone so sorry for the pic layout but you get the point. Took less than an hour working with my coworker in his garage. Disabled DRLs also. Up next is some welding and cutting, field monitor install and ordering LEDs all around.

[MENTION=82580]justwoody1[/MENTION] wired up my covers. Traded him my 01/02 tails. Signals, puddles and blues all work. Decided rather than wire the blues to the parking lights to wire them to the overheads. Cops in Gwinnett love to ticket for stuff like that and I'm not looking to give them an excuse.

$30 bucks, I was going to buy this exact bar new, would have been well over a grand, and all I had to do was rewire this one. Granted I need to buy more parts for it to completely deck it out the way I want it, but good enough for now. That being said, how did you run the wiring for your roof lights?
