GreenbowCounty's build up!

Rig is looking good as always Man! It's been a while since I've seen you around any of the 4runner sites. Glad you still have it and still working on it. Hope all is well man!

Spencer likewise man, you're looking sharp as ever! We welcomed my son at the end of last year and I pretty much went absent from social media. I'm looking forward to wrapping things up though so please stay tuned. I'll have to get out and go to one of the Atlanta meet ups. Good group; just haven't made the time.

Thanks man! Yea I can't ever find time to get out to meets either. One day I'll get to some. Congrats on the son. Maybe we can go ride one of these days

Nice Hilux Surf! I've been dreaming of one but waiting on the 25 year old deal

It's as close as it'll ever be without being Right Hand Drive but thank you! I've always been a JDM fanatic and that drove the build more than anything.

Sounds like a plan Spence and thanks for the kind words. That'll be you one day man lol:sniper:

Looks good as always, even for someone who lived between the hedges, though I was rooting for them last Saturday.

I was hoping for a UZ pic or two.

ATL traffic is no laughing matter, and seems to only get worse....

Here it is; still going strong at almost 20k miles. the Yellowtop is on its way out. My second one in six months after the first failed to keep a charge. Then when Oreillys tried to charge it the seals started cooking. Going back to Odyssey shortly!

Man I miss Georgia games lol!

LittleCaesar I agree man, I shoot a text from time to time to say thanks and give him an update on the truck. He stays pretty busy

RAV4 Nozzle Install

Installed part numbers 85381-42070, Rav4 nozzles. These I saw on T4R a couple of years back and thought what a simple great mod, especially given that one of my units had a clogged nozzle. Takes five minutes and all you need is a flathead and a little patience.

Will be installing the 2wd shifter here shortly now that I have the shifter and woodgrain cluster.

I'm really liking the V8 swap man. Your rig has come a long way.

Woody thanks man! Sorry to hear about the 3rd Gen but congratulations on joining the 5th Gen club! We're in the process of moving and after everything is settled I hope to put a little more into the truck and possibly get a second toy.

Today was all about fitting the bumper, winch, lights and sliders. Two out of four ain't so bad I guess.

Managed to mock up and paint the sliders but with so much to do on the bumper the sliders are being put on next week. They are a DOM product with kickouts in the rear. Little heavier than the HREW but as you might imagine stouter.

The back of the ComeUp Winch is flat making the mounting much simpler than with other models of winch. It went onto the bumper without issue.

The AllPro Apex bumper is made for a Tacoma which shares similar features with the 4Runner however it does require some cutting and modification to make it work.

We spent more time than we imagined we would and still will have to wire up lighting but progress is progress.

For the rear I'll be mounting this after getting it powder coated to also match the cladding. Unlike the front bumper this is made to encompass the 2" body lift so there will be no gap. I'll also have some other modifications to it for camp lighting.

Today couldn't have been accomplished without the help of some local Atlanta 4Runner members Eric and Brian

When we finally did finish we headed to the monthly Atlanta 4Runner meet. The group has definitely grown over the past couple of years. 4Runners, Tacomas, FJ Cruisers, etc. Always a good exchange of people who love their Toyotas.

The end product when I finally got it back home. Hoping to have it cleaned up next weekend. Cheers!

Not sure if you’re on FB or not but search for Atlanta 4Runners and you should see everything. I’m not on FB but some folks still post up here. FactoryRide is a great resource for the meet ups!

How ya been James? It's been a while. Hope the family is good!

Check out the page on Facebook if you're on there. We haven't had any monthly meets in a while. When we do meet up, it's usually down in the Marietta area.

Spencer how are you man? Life is good; as it turns out we're in the process of moving to Wisconsin. Cold as hell yes :lmao: but it is what it is. It'll be a change from Atlanta but will be back and forth. Wish you and the wife a happy and prosperous new year!

Where is Wisconsin? You'll like it since it's the greatest state in the union... :behindsofa:
