Hello everyone. I finally got my truck after wanting one since getting my license (over 12 years ago). I got my '99 in mid-May with only 100k on the clock and running strong. I have since done some preventative maintenance to get everything in tip top shape before I slowly mod this guy. Changed fuel filter as well as plugs and wires on the first weekend. I also removed a damaged running board and I am looking for some nerf bars. I switched out the factory for a Pioneer deck that I had in my old car ('94 Camry) and then got into the process of thoroughly cleaning everything (I think the truck had been sitting in a driveway for a year) and tackling my first timing belt. After several hours of cursing and a couple of threads asking for advice (thanks, guys), I had the truck back together and running great. The wife and I took him up to the Blue Ridge Parkway today and he's running strong, even getting 21 mpg!

I will slowly be modding this as life allows, but I am excited to finally have a truck. I hope that I can keep this truck running long enough for our first child (pregnant wife now!!!!) to drive when they become of age.

Here are a few photos from the drive today.
