It's an enclosed box for better quality bass, not louder.

edit: they now have the alpine grilles on them. and yes, I do like to keep the truck in pristine condition!
dude! that looks tight! very clean! how's it look with the grilles?

So what was the exact model of the amp you got?

I really wanna get one of those detailers to come out to my house now. I'm sure my 4runner could use a nice claying and waxing.

now is the grill itself just stuck on to those L brackets, and did they come with it/ instructions, or did you just fandangle your way though the whole process?

Yeah I'd like to do that at some point too. How do you go about contacting one of these detailers? Are there companies that provide the service or is it more of a freelance thing?

:D

let me explain...

I used to drive an 87 mercedes 560sel. one day in the rain, I lost traction and hit a curb... which even though wasn't that much damage, totaled the car. this was on December 18th 2007 I believe.

well, my brother Jon had sold his company the week before to Burts Bee's, basically their whole line of pregnancy and stretch mark products. he heard about my crash and since he was going on a "buy everyone in my family something cool binge," he bought me a used mercedes for 24k. (I was nearly crying I was so happy). he bought himself a Porsche which he later gave to my dad. (his intentions were to give to my dad but he decided to taunt him with it for a bit... lol.

so as much as I loved the mercedes, maintenance is mucho expensivo and it only runs on premium, etc. I wanted something for a daily driver.

I took the insurance money from my totaled 87 (4k) and bundled it with another 2k from my savings account (I used to work at in n out LOL) and found a girl selling a beat up 99 4runner which I bought in march 08. that's how it came to be, I got a job at fletcher jones mercedes Benz so I could not only make enough to support other cars but I also get mercedes parts and service way cheaper.

I've only put 4k on the mercedes and it stays in the garage most of the time. in June 08, I only put 13 miles on it lol.
