KidVermicious New member Nov 19, 2012 #2 Where's it coming from? Do you feel it or hear it? There could be other causes, but my brain went immediately to ujoints on the driveshaft.

4 4runnin83 New member Nov 19, 2012 #3 Does it sound like a metal on metal 'SHKKKKKK SHKKKKKKKK' sort of thing? Mine did that do, anytime I let off the accelerator around 40 or less mph. And KID is right, it was the u joints

Click to expand... :iagree: seen this happen many times. what happens when you let off is the flow of power is reversed causing the pinioin gear to fall into the diff and start grinding againt the carrier. torque spec on that nut is 135 ft/lbs i believe
