This forum is truly leaps and bounds above most, I don't post on and have a hard time even reading the Audi forums (wifes car) due to constant bickering and folks giving vendors a hard time.
and on that note, everyone who has/will order these please be respectful of DC Engineerings time and be sure you understand the lead times and that with a batch order it is very possible it could be A) longer then expected and B) some people may get theirs before you. The last thing we want to do is become a hassle for vendors. While it would be nice to think they need us (they do) but its a two way street for specialty products when not everyone under the sun makes an offering.

As long as I get mine first, I won't complain.... Jk. Honestly, even if it takes a few months to get here, it is going to be a great upgrade.
Big 3 = adding 4awg or thicker cables between the alternator and ground, alternator to battery positive, and battery negative and ground.
Anodizing = a coloring process. Just to make it pretty and whatever color you want.
Polishing = makes the metal more shiny. Just to make it pretty.

Thanks so much for your generosity Carlos (and community), but I won't take any credit for all the 'extremely capable' negotiating and fancy footwork that Paul (Okki) has done here by himself! I will, however, take credit for the fine guinea pig part of buying the very first DCPE 270-XP alternator here (as far as I know), installing it, testing it and reporting back here with my 0.00000.2 cent pov, lol!
I'm so very glad that now so many of you will experience that same feeling of an unlimited electrical capability to drive whatever electrical loads that you have, now carefully calculated, planned for and installed! There's something about knowing that your truck is more than capable of driving all of your electrical accessories with ease and has the extra capacity to handle even more without compromising any of your wiring, your alternator, or your battery(s)!
...Oh, and please be kind enough to tell us of your experience with the new power plant, and what your thoughts are about this very important investment; there are still others here that haven't yet pulled the trigger on a properly beefed-up electrical system!
