Been a little crazy lately with the holiday. BUT YES!!! We need 20 people. I've been very involved in discussing this project with DT and trying to make it come to life. DT does listen to customers and listened to me as a sponsor on here about doing this test. I said I think it's good idea at least to try ONE RUN and got the green light, again, need 20. Very cool. These prices I also worked on and are very fair! I know what this stuff costs to make, and those that know also should be happy.

EDIT, there needs to be 20 total for LONG TUBES ONLY to make this happen. Doesn't matter if there are 100 people that want short tubes, 20 is the magic number that we need for LONG TUBES only. (The collector flanges must be bought at 20 sets to get the discount we need behind the scenes) So, as long as we get 20 people for LONG TUBES, any one that wants short tubes will be able to get short tubes even if there are only say 5 people than want short tubes.

Edit #2. Yes, these will also fit the GX470, 03-04 and 05-09. Same thing, same headers work on BOTH! Spread the word!

I'm ready to pay for a set of LT for 03-04 if someone can let me know if it is reasonable to get some high flow cats in the Y pipe. I know it should be possible to physically fit and weld them but I want to make sure they will get hot enough to not clog. In my experience, cats fail when they aren't getting hot enough to do their job an collect deposits. (if they can last 150k + behind an oil burning rotary they can burn off anything with enough temperature) or if I should just do shorties, to keep from having to worry about it.

I would rather do the long tubes and get the catalytic converters in the Y-pipe so that if I ever have to replace cats then I don't have to pull the manifolds again. So I don't actually care LT vs ST as far as performance or sound

I live in Idaho and the Ada County air quality board said as long as the equipment is present and functioning it doesn't matter if it is OEM or not so a slight change in design isn't an issue.

Just to tell you guy's that I have paid for my LT+Ypipe. Thank you all for your patience, I found this "buy group" only last week and found the money in a week. I bought My truck 2 weeks ago, spent 10K.....CASH, and now it is grounded due to a failed Inter-Province inspection. I need these headers to get the truck to pass inspection. Cant wait to get them. Back in my Kia Forte.

I did some more research, it look like modern OEM cat design is pretty decent, you might gain a couple hp with no cats or the same amount with aftermarket high-flow cats.

I did notice there was more drone when I removed 1 of mine.

I thought I replied to this, but no worries. Anyone that still uses cats I've sold the awesome magnaflow high flow cats, I know which ones work, and they are great. $79.99 each,. and I have them in stock. This is what you want, you don't want anything but these high flow ones if you are still going to use catsm, cause any other will restrict flow and rob you of power.
