Now that I have gone down in history.... lol nah I'll still poke around here. Love the platform and learned so much about it over the years, I just need to keep learning new things and play with a new build that suits me and my future better now than the last 5 year plan that was a great success.
Pretty evident he needs to hire some help... I texted him yesterday and never got a response about the studs..

I had the same thing the first time I tried contacting him, but the next time, he texted back immediately and asked if he could call. Walked me through the whole deal and didn’t seem impatient even though I flip flopped on whether or not to pull the trigger. Just keep trying. I’m betting a lot of the profitably of the operation is the minimal overhead.
I did end up hearing from him today, so that was good.
But I think the cost of hiring a high schooler to work in the evening on packing/shipping or other menial tasks would be low enough that it could free Jason up to focus on Customer Service, New Products, etc..

Hope this didn't come across as being rude or attacking you in any way, [MENTION=9]Jason_B[/MENTION]. I'm pulling for small businesses, especially ones that go out of their way to bring new products to market at a fair price and stand up for their customers to manufacturers (see the need for this thread in the first place).
I want your business to grow, so I was just trying to think of a low-cost way to free up some of your time to focus on efforts that will better allow your business to grow. I wasn't saying a high-schooler could do everything you do or should do everything. Just that they could help out with menial tasks and jobs for a few hours a week to take some of the load off your shoulders.

I love my job and love what I do, a high schooler isn't going to help as they cannot answer questions like this, wish they could. Anyone that isn't exactly like me is only going to be calling me/texting me 24/7 to answer every question. I had 70 texts today mainly do to this group buy. I honestly thought we'd barely get 20, well, it's well over that now. 9am -10:30 pm work day today and now it's 2am somehow, lol. 145 sprint boosters sold in 3 months on here and 34 Gibson catbacks sold just for September due to the sale. I'm in a good mood. Many call with questions about the headers because it's confusing. Anyone that calls me I spend an average of 45 min on the phone with them explaining everything from install, other items like exhaust, Y pipe, etc. I don't rush people off the phone because I enjoy talking about these trucks. I've had a 1997 4Runner myself for over 20 years now. I get and understand why people want a premium version, we love our trucks and want the best, even if it's overkill.
No ones order has been held up on here... The reason it's always been said 5-7 weeks is, behind the scenes Doug Thorley makes these, then sends them out to the shop that does the ceramic coating on the headers. They do not do this in house. They could, but they don't want to take the chance of it not lasting as long, so they use the vendor they've used for years that does it right. They usually get behind at the ceramic company and things cna get delayed.
I can't always get into this forum to reply but I most certainly will when we are closer to a good ETA, and this forum doesn't always send me email notifications. The truth is... just the past week is the busiest week I've ever had in doing this business since 1999. Again, people get confused on headers, short tube vs long tube, exhausts, Y pipe, cats or no cats, etc. I could have easily made a link for people to order these premium headers but then there would be unhappy customers that didn't know all the ins and outs, Not every state can do long tubes, cats, etc.
I chose to have every single person call me that wanted to order these so there is no confusion. It's a lot of money to spend and I just need to know that everyone is getting THE BEST SETUP for their particular truck and area they live in.
I spoke with one guy tonight who's in Arizona and his install shop told him to buy from Burtman only to get his headers and that they've installed 3 sets already. I don't know the shop name yet, but I'm going to ask this new customer who is it because he said install is going to be $350 for the long tubes! I want to make this shop known because that's one hell of a deal for install and anyone that's in or near AZ can save some money. Unreal! The cheapest I've heard was $500 and that was in Colorado. When I find out I'll post it. Now, If you're in PA, we can install these for you if you can't find anyone to do it, but cost for install is much more.
If you add up about 45 min x 30 customers for these premium long tubes, that was some of the delay in my response time to people. Hiring someone else that's exactly like me isn't easy. All headers will be shipping from Doug Thorley straight to you. Jay Leno could help me though for sure.

I think if you did have a link for these headers, the hassle of explaining everything after a sale and all the possible return shipping would be more of a head ache for you and the customers.
This guy is legit folks, he just has an old school hands on approach that unless your my age, your not familiar with. Everyone please have some patience with the man, he really does have our best interest at heart. And he's an American, he's allowed to make a couple of bucks as well as sleep once in awhile.

Im getting excited as the time for me to buy long tubes and a Y pipe is coming soon and im so ready to get rid of this exhaust ticking sound. So let me get this straight all i need is the extenders to eliminate throwing a CEL?

All extenders do is extend...You will most likely just need 2 stacked spacers per REAR o2 sensor.

I placed my order for long tubes today with Jason. I went with the non premium kind as I dont really carr if the flange is stainless or not. He told me today mine should be shipping out next Friday but I didnt go with the premium that have the stainless flanges. Thanks Jason .

Some pictures of the rear O2 sensor setup on my URD Y-Pipe with the DT Long Tubes. Also some pictures of the titanium studs on the Long Tubes. As blackout mentioned - no mini cats on the front O2 sensors and extension harnesses only (my mistake earlier - thank you for correcting me [MENTION=117708]blackoutt[/MENTION]). Mini cats went on the rear O2 sensors after the front cat delete from LT install.

Did you paint your headers because they dont look polished like the ones in the pics on there website? Also what type of spacers are you using on the rear 02 sensors? I seen the J style and seen the ones you stack up but never seen those?
