Also, when will the titanium studs and y-pipes ship? Are you waiting to send everything together?

If you got the long tube headers AND the DT y-pipe, then the y-pipe ships in the box with the headers direct from DT. The studs were either being sent to DT to ship with it, or he was just making sure the studs arrived before the headers.

He had asked if I wanted to have them all shipped together or separate. I told him just to ship it all together, I'd guess the studs are going to DT, or maybe the studs are just being shipped at the same time as the headers but from different places.

Finally talked to owner of Doug Thorley, and they will be adding pics of the production process eventually on their social media. When they get time, but we talked about it and I thought it would be cool so everyone can see some cool stuff.

They also hired on extra people just to help fill these orders, which I thought was very cool. Wasn't able to add anymore orders as of yet, I know I said new orders could be taken until monday, but all materal I think is spoken for, that's why I didn't get to reply yet, but I will try to figure it out soon. Anyone else that already spoke to me and ordered, no worries.

I know on Sept 27th no production for these had begun and wasn't expected to start the next week either, based on my phone call when I ordered and paid. I wouldn't start any estimates any earlier than that, personally.

My stepson was really into Phineas and Ferb for a long time, and it's one of the few kids shows that is funny enough to enjoy with him. Was a pretty big bonding thing for us at the time... My wife says Heinz Doofenshmirtz is my spirit animal. Edit: and ever since then, every anonymous thing I do online is some variation of doofenshmirtz. It's usually available, but I've had to go so far as DrHeinzDoofenshmirtz and DoofenshmirtzEvilInc.

Until you called attention to my user name, I hadn't thought to name my ride.. It must now be named The 4Runnerinator! I might even need a vanity plate or make a vinyl decal haha

That's what I'm thinking too, but I didn't think it would be so hard to get a true update on these with some form of confirmation. The expectation needs to be re-set on lead time but Jason hasn't been able to comment,.

I also just wanted to say I’ve dealt with Doug Thorley for a long time and they are a great company and take care of their vendors which I am one of their bigger ones. Just to put some peace of mind out as I know everyone is anxious. I am too!

Ya, I also got a receipt emailed to me when I ordered over the phone.

I'm pretty excited about getting these. I just got done doing the timing belt AISIN kit with the water pump and pulleys. Also got a K&N high flow filter and spark plugs. Going to be spending time in the Rockies this winter, so want to prepared!

Just got off the phone with my guy at (DT), Doug Thorley. I was told they are looking to ship before thanksgiving holiday coming up. They also hired on extra welders too and some other people just for this job (as I think I mentioned before) I'm told that soon there will be some photos that will be posted on DT's instagram and facebook so you will be to see production pics of the process, etc. They are a bit behind right now due to the Sema show in Vegas, which starts next week so the pics won't be up for a bit yet until they are back.

I just wanted to reply when I had more solid information and I'm hoping this all works out on the before thanksgiving shipping time.

Some pictures of the rear O2 sensor setup on my URD Y-Pipe with the DT Long Tubes. Also some pictures of the titanium studs on the Long Tubes. As blackout mentioned - no mini cats on the front O2 sensors and extension harnesses only (my mistake earlier - thank you for correcting me [MENTION=117708]blackoutt[/MENTION]). Mini cats went on the rear O2 sensors after the front cat delete from LT install.

Have you had any issues with the titanium hardware becoming loose over time?

My mechanic had my truck back after doing the initial install to retorque the nuts, and said almost all of them were loose...

Checking under the hood after a ~250 mile drive, and a couple nuts were totally missing...

Curious if this is isolated to my truck or not.

Keep us posted on this and if you find anything out about it. I had planned on getting the stud kit but I'll pass if it's going to have any issues like that.

I got you... And I hope to hear today or tomorrow on ETA and where everything is at. I want to say again, thanks to all of you guys for being so patient. I KNOW it's hard to wait for something like this. Everyone in here has been very cool and I do appreciate it.

On the Titanium studs, no there is no need to worry, they are just better made in every way. Being made out of Titanium (air craft grade) is to prevent any corrosion from ever happening/prevents ever snapping off, etc. like the factory bolts can do. These need to be torqued to the factory torque specs from Toyota.

NOTE: Per Doug Thorley instructions they say to run the vehicle for 20 min after installing headers. Then go back and re-tighten. They should also be using a torque wrench to ensure proper foot pounds of torque on bolts per gasket recommendations.
