I guess I'm kinda hijacking your thread RIDE, my bad.

I don't see it as a hijack at all. These are legitimate questions about the functionality of a RTT on a Gobi Stealth rack. Seams like the right place for it.

I was considering the Baja utility vs the Gobi Stealth.

Ended up ordering the Stealth through Mark. I liked the low top rails on the stealth and the partial expanded metal floor. The cross bars will allow me to add yakima/thule accessories if I want later as well.

Transaction was effortless, now I am waiting for a big box to show up in a couple weeks.

Big thanks for Mark setting things up and giving us a great deal!

You and I both. It's gonna be a long couple of weeks. Wish I had gotten it before this weekend's trip to Anza Borrego. In the mean while, I've been looking into awnings.

The Gobi Stealth is amazing...and the rooftop tent is like a tree fort for your Runner.

I've got to say, I like racks, tree forts, and things with 4WD and horsepower powered by gasoline. I guess that makes me a guy.

I'm desperately working to package a collateralized debt obligation utilizing my rare pog collection as the underlying security. Once complete, I fully intend to buy a rack from RiDE (he has a great price!).

I threw this up in the For sale / Want to Buy section, but figured I'd put it on here for those of you buying a new Stealth or Ranger from RiDE. I am in the market for just the ladder. I understand it comes free (awesome deal by the way), when you buy the rack, so I wanted to see if anyone was buying the Ranger or Stealth and were looking to part with the Ladder. If this doesn't really get any attention within a week or so, I'll just buy one outright from RiDE instead. I simply wanted to put this out there in case someone wanted to get some money back when they bought the rack. :thumb3:

The wait is pretty hard but nothing compared to Shrockworks. Try waiting 3 months for a part. You really just have to forget about it.
