**Group Buy: Gobi Racks and accessories**

Very interested in this rack, want to get the Gobi Stealth. Is there anything else I need to do when I remove my stock rack on my TE before installing the Gobi?

Same date for my order. I wanted a change to the design, so custom request.

I knew it would take a bit longer and Mark said minimum of 2 weeks for regular production.

By the original time estimate, the rack should be close to shipping, so I wanted to just check in and see how things were going.

I am not concerned or upset, just was curious how the schedule was looking on my rack.

I look forward to hearing from Mark.

Sorry about the lack of updates guys. I'm in the same boat as you as far updates. When Gobi gets slammed they are pretty much unresponsive. But just give it some time. They always come through. Rest assured your orders are all going as they should.

No problem, I figured as much, it is hard to get things done if they are on the phone all the time :)

Thanks for posting up and keeping us in the loop.

I think a lot of guys would be surprised how small most of the off road companies are, the forum gets a ton of interest and a lot of orders all at once and it is hard for these companies to react to a big swing in orders.

Heck, my Marathon seat cover order is an 8 week lead time because they are backed up with orders.

I would much rather wait an extra week for products made in the USA than to get immediate fulfillment of an order because a company buys in mass quantity from China.

on another note,

for those of you who DID receive your racks from gobi, what was the average wait time? i'm on day 34 so far.
 
Nothing from Gobi as of yet. They usually don't answer emails on weekends.

I will be getting a hold of them tomorrow even if it means me leaving messages and emails all day. I havent received any type of update from them in almost 2 weeks now. I need some kind of communication from them.

I will keep you guys posted. I'm so sorry about the wait and lack of updates.
 
I am ordering from Gobi direct at they are 45 min from my house. I've been waiting on an email from them for 3 weeks now. I may run over there in the next day or two just to see what's going on
